Job Summary
Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Google Play, you'll design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions and features. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality code through unit and integration testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams (UX, Product), and adhering to software development best practices. You'll review code, provide feedback, and manage project priorities and deadlines. The role focuses on contributing to Google Play's backend systems and enhancing the Android ecosystem by providing developers and partners a premium store to reach millions of users. Experience with Java, Dart, and Android app frameworks is preferred.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1 year software development experience (Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- 1 year experience with data structures or algorithms
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Good to have:
- Experience with Java, Dart, Apps Framework, Boq
- Experience with cross-functional roles (UX, Product)

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:

- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions and features under supervision.
- Ensure a high-level of quality implementing unit and integration tests as well as other software development best practices.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and products. Own and be responsible for assigned project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with engineer guidance.
