Sound Editor with 1-3 years of experience in audio post-production, proficient in Bengali language, strong understanding of Foley artistry and audio editing software. Responsibilities include audio editing, clean-up, sound design, music integration, and mix/mastering.

Role & responsibilities

1-3 years of proven experience as a Sound Engineer.

Proficient in Bengali language.

Having sensibility of recording and experience of Foley artistry.

The objective of this position is to be involved in the entire audio post-production process which will include one or more of these things-Audio editing, Audio clean-up, Sound designing (sound effects, foley, ambience, etc), working with production music to enhance the deliverable (basic knowledge of music will be important) and mix and master the deliverable.

The candidate should be comfortable with working on both long formats (15 to 30 minutes worth) and shorter pieces of content.

The person should be open to ideas, provide creative and technical inputs, have good trouble- shooting skills, collaborate with the writer/producer/management to deliver an objectively great product, and should be responsible enough to take the onus of their own projects.

Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of production.

Organizational and collaborative skills, as well as the ability to prioritize, are a must.

Candidates must be familiar with any audio editing software like Cubase, Nuendo, Pro Tools, Logic, etc.

Bachelor's degree in related fields.
