Valve is seeking skilled audio software engineers to advance audio tools and technologies for video games and VR. You'll contribute to expanding our spatial audio technology, Steam Audio, impacting game and VR audio development processes. As a Valve audio engineer, you might also join a game team to develop audio tools that enhance creative storytelling and deliver engaging experiences to millions worldwide. Collaborate with a talented team to make audio a powerful element in all current and future Valve products.

Must have:

Experience with audio software development
Strong understanding of audio principles and techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for video games and VR

Good to have:

Experience with spatial audio technologies
Experience with game audio middleware
Experience with C++ or other programming languages
Experience with game development tools and workflows
