As a member of the team, you have a direct impact on design and feature enhancements to keep our systems running smoothly. You also ensure that network operations are safe and efficient by monitoring network performance, coordinating planned maintenance, adjusting hardware components and responding to network connectivity issues. Google's complex network generates a constant stream of challenges which require you to continually be innovative with an evolving set of technologies. Keeping the network reliable ensures that our users stay connected with our suite of applications, products and services.

The Customer Services Edge team is responsible for the network that connects Goolgle's cloud customers directly to the Cloud Networking and other Google Cloud Platform (GCP) offerings. In this role, you will own the entire lifecycle of new products and technologies being introduced into Google Global Network's (GGN) edge domain, from conceptualizing, prototyping, developing, executing the pilot, rolling out to the network, and making it generally available, supporting the network/design in its deployed state, and eventually deprecating it. You will be accountable for the holistic health of the customer facing edge network, by delivering the edge as a modular component of GGN's network planning and deployment pipelines, and ensuring that the edge meets its promised Service Level Objectives (SLO).
