Student Assistant to Group Finance, Controlling & Strategic Finance

Milestone Group Finance, Controlling and Strategic Finance (CASF), is looking for two student assistants The student assistant role will give you valuable practical hands-on experience within the strategic finance and controlling area. You will have your own deliverables, delivering directly into the team’s overall goals, which is an excellent opportunity to turn theoretical knowledge into practice.

CASF is on a continuous journey from traditional controlling tasks towards a Business Partnering approach with a high degree of involvement in commercial-related activities and acting as trusted partners to key executives and management teams. Furthermore, we are focusing heavily on the use of technology within Finance to increase efficiency and transparency.

Both positions are based out of our headquarters in Greater Copenhagen (Brøndby) and requires that you live and study in Denmark. We are looking for students who can preferably work 15-20 hours a week. We understand the importance of the balance between your studies and working hours. We are flexible around your working days.

Work tasks & Responsibilities:
You will support the Controlling and Strategic Finance team with various tasks and team objectives

• Preparing and updated internal management reporting
• Updating Excel spreadsheets
• Preparing and updating PowerPoint presentations
• Preparing and updated financial model
• Maintaining and updating master data
• Validating data
• Handling ad hoc tasks and projects
• Various analyses

Who are you?
Ideally, you are at the end of your bachelor or beginning of the master’s degree and can come from many different backgrounds e.g. business, technology or finance or other relevant fields.

• You have a holistic approach and interest in finance and its role in supporting commercial business.
• You have a strong data- and analytic mindset. Extracting insights from analysis and commutating these to relevant stakeholders across Milestone. Good experience with
• IT, MS Office super-user - especially Excel and PowerPoint. PowerBI experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English (orally and in writing).
