Job description

ARE YOU OUR NEW TEAM LEAD FOR ELECTRONICS?

Do you love leading people just as much as working with cutting-edge electronics? Do you thrive in a role where you can both develop new, innovative products and ensure the reliability of existing ones?

At Trackman, we are growing fast and constantly pushing the boundaries of sports tracking technology. To support this, we are looking for a Team Lead for Electronics—someone who is passionate about people, collaboration, and driving technical excellence while staying hands-on with electronics development.

LEADERSHIP, TEAMWORK & INNOVATION

As Team Lead for Electronics, your most important task is to lead and develop a team of 7 skilled engineers, from newly graduated to seniors within RF and digital electronics. Your role will be to ensure they have the right support, tools, and direction to succeed. You’ll be responsible for creating a motivating and structured work environment, setting clear goals, and helping the team grow—both professionally and personally.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Giving guidance to the team, prioritizing tasks, follow-ups, feedback, and development support for the team.

  • Driving the development of next-generation high-frequency radar systems (10GHz and 24GHz), high-speed digital electronics, camera technology, and IR light systems.

  • Working in close cooperation with the Mechanical Engineering team, Optics & Certification team, Firmware team, and PTA to ensure smooth integration across disciplines and a strong foundation for product manufacturability.

  • Building on best practices for structured documentation, revision control, and design processes.

  • Supporting the team with the right tools and lab equipment—such as CAD solutions and instruments — ensuring the team has the right tools for development and testing.

  • Facilitating a culture of knowledge-sharing, both within the team and through external partnerships.

Job requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field (e.g., B.Sc., M.Sc., or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in electronics development in hardware R&D, working with schematic design, PCB layout reviews, and debugging/testing electronics.

  • Strong understanding of electronics design processes, including schematic capture, layout, and design for manufacturing (DFM).

  • Experience with product lifecycle management, from concept to production and sustaining legacy products.

The Office

We have just moved to our state-of-art HQ in Hørsholm, located at DTU Science Park. We take great pride in the building we designed! The office features bright meeting rooms, coffee areas to catch up with colleagues, a large testing arena with simulators available for employees and a fitness centre, everything surrounded by a beautiful forest and respecting the environment. We made sure to utilize the newest technologies to be energy efficient and be mindful of ventilation and sound propagation.

The cherry on top is our canteen: with an indoor and outdoor area to enjoy the fresh food prepared by our own kitchen staff.

Join the home of a powerful sports brand and a one-of-a-kind technology

Our proprietary technology is based on expert knowledge about radar, computer vision, data, and software engineering. Our solutions are developed by specialists who endlessly explore and challenge new technical boundaries.  Our work culture is entrepreneurial, ambitious, and rewarding as you get to collaborate with inspiring colleagues and interact with the leaders of golf, baseball, and football. Based on a unique brand reputation, we are proud to work in close partnership with the top athletes, organizations, and teams that rely on our technology to stay ahead of the race.

We are a Danish company founded, owned, and managed since 2003 by three entrepreneurs with a strong passion for sports. Today, we have a global footprint with our headquarters located in Denmark (Hørsholm) and offices in New York, Phoenix, Seoul and Tokyo. We employ over 750 people worldwide, half of which work in Denmark, where most hardware and software products are developed, tested, and manufactured.
