Job Description

The Technical Consultant at Revenera plays a vital role in ensuring that Flexera products are effectively implemented and configured to meet customer needs. This role involves understanding technology intelligence, providing expert consultation, and delivering functional and technical solutions. The consultant will support customers throughout their journey, ensuring they realize the value of the technology and fostering strong customer relationships. Key responsibilities include delivering Flexera solutions, ensuring customer success, providing technical consulting, supporting delivery team management, acting as a subject matter expert, assisting in knowledge transfers, contributing to training, and highlighting opportunities to improve project outcomes.

The Technical Consultant is a vital contributor ensuring that Flexera products are onboarded and configured to meet customer needs and goals. This role involves understanding and prioritising technology intelligence, providing expert consultation, and delivering functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. The consultant will support customers through their journey, ensuring the realization of technology value and fostering strong customer relationships.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Flexera solutions, integrating with surrounding technologies to meet customers' business outcomes.
  • Ensure timely achievement of customer success through best practice onboarding and adoption strategies.
  • Provide credible and relevant technical consulting services, including scoping, estimates, and solution designs.
  • Support delivery team management in setting customer expectations and maintaining ongoing communication.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, supporting internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist in technical knowledge transfers and share best practice advice.
  • Support delivery of specialist value training and contribute to content development processes.
  • Utilize commercial awareness to highlight opportunities for adapting project scopes to ensure the best outcomes for customers.

Domain knowledge to an expert level in one product set, and preferred working knowledge in two or more product sets.

  • Computer/Hardware Networking

  • Using Collaboration and productivity software
  • API programming (e.g., Powershell or equivalent) Graph QL
  • Knowledge of a 3rd Party ITSM tool (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC)
  • Domain expertise in Core SAM Technologies
  • Domain expertise in Snow Products (e.g., Automation Platform, Risk Monitor, Commander, Snow Cloud Cost)
  • Data {expand on Data capabilities} Relationship DB etc
  • Security – working knowledge of applying SSL Certificates,
  • Networking – working knowledge of “concepts”
