Reflector Entertainment is seeking a Technical Game Designer to bridge the gap between design and technical execution, turning gameplay ideas into reality using Unreal Engine 5. This role involves prototyping, implementing, and supporting game systems for an iconic Bandai Namco franchise. The ideal candidate will optimize designs, collaborate with teams, and integrate game mechanics like movement systems and dynamic UI, while benefiting from generous health and dental coverage and ample time off.
Must have:
  • Help bring game designers, programmers, and artists' ideas to life.
  • Create functional prototypes using Blueprints in the Unreal engine.
  • Adjust and integrate game mechanics like movement systems, interactions, gameplay logic, dynamic UI.
  • A solid understanding of the French language.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in technical game design or a similar role.
  • Experience in rapid prototyping of mechanics.
  • Solid mastery of Unreal engine (ideally UE5) and the Blueprint system.

How You’ll Spend Your Days:
