Bohemia Interactive is looking for a talented and enthusiastic QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our games and tools. You will work closely with the development and QA teams to identify areas for automation, write clear and concise test cases, and troubleshoot issues.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#) and automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to identify areas for automation and develop test strategies.
- Write clear and concise test cases based on game design documents, user stories, and other requirements.
- Identify, report, and track software defects.
- Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automation tools and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in QA automation, preferably in the game industry.
- Strong programming skills in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#).
- Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestComplete).
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with game development tools and engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) is a plus.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience with performance testing and load testing.
- Passion for video games and a deep understanding of game mechanics.
