Job Details

Make is the leading visual platform for anyone to design, build, and automate anything—from tasks and workflows to apps and systems—without the need for coding skills. We are headquartered in the flourishing tech hub of Prague, Czech Republic, and our teams are spread across the USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, India and Chile, among other locations. We are proud to have 2500+ pre-built integrations (aka Apps) enabling customers to connect to just about any software out there, and the list keeps growing at unprecedented pace. This year it has been almost 50 new apps monthly, and this is all thanks to our flourishing ecosystem of external developers. And thanks to the team you are about to join! We are looking for a developer experience specialist to join our rapidly growing product and engineering organization where you will be part of the Apps Developer Experience (DX) team supporting external developers of integrations (apps). What you’ll do:
  • Respond to support tickets: Help customers with developing and maintaining their Custom Apps by responding to their requests submitted via Freshdesk. Occasionally, with an important customer or partner, you would be engaging with them directly through Slack or going on a call.
  • Review apps: Ensure reliable apps for all users of Make by conducting thorough reviews of all Custom Apps which ask to be Verified and helping their developers succeed in the Review Process.
  • Publish apps: Publish both Verified and Community apps once they are approved to all users of Make.
  • Support app certification: Support users pursuing the Custom Apps Development certification by responding to their questions and reviewing their submissions.
  • Inform customers: When a requested app is released, inform the users on our Make Idea Exchange and pass on any feedback to its developer. Coordinate send-out of information to users in case of major changes in any of the apps.
  • Contribute to knowledge-base: Share your acquired knowledge by contributing to Custom Apps Documentation or even creating a training video.
  • Support other Makers: Be the voice of externally developed apps inside Make by answering questions of colleagues and passing on feedback to developers.
  • Automate your processes: Part of Make’s success is that we are using our own product to automate the tedious tasks. You’ll have the opportunity to extend the existing as well as design new automations for your team.
  What we are looking for:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (developer experience, customer care of a product for software developers, solution engineering and similar)
  • People that drive things forward, can dissolve customer problems into easy to digest steps, are great with other people and have a strong desire to help users, developers of apps on Make, succeed.
  • Working experience with REST APIs and JSON format, basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTTP protocol
  • Written and verbal fluency in English
  • Advanced users of automation, integration, SaaS APIs, and/or no-code software solutions have additional preference
