As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. You will be working with the most ambiguous, most complex cross-cutting programs, and ensuring delivery against dynamic, continuously-leveling milestones. You will create an impact and deliver a high Return on Investment (ROI), enabling our customers with new Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to make more, save more and run faster.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • Experience managing projects in a technical/software engineering environment
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans
  • Work with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the project
  • Analyze project data to identify trends and make informed decisions
Good to have:
  • Experience in leading projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Experience working in a fluid, technology driven environment
  • Experience with cloud platform services or technologies
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for cloud adoption and migration
