Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage schedules, and communicate across teams. You'll analyze forecast/demand signals to improve data visibility for GSO labor planning, provide integrated plans and capacity models, and ensure Data Center sites are ready for demand fluctuations. You'll leverage data visualization to improve efficiency and supply chain visibility, using program management and analytics to simplify business flows and enable faster decision-making. The role supports labor planning and readiness for Google's Data Center sites, aligning processes, tools, and programs with the overall strategy of empowering Google's global supply chain with seamless data-driven planning and operational excellence.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in CS or related field
  • 5+ years program management experience
  • Experience with integrated planning solutions
  • Excellent technical acumen and leadership
  • Analyze forecast/demand signals
  • Provide integrated plans and capacity models
Good to have:
  • Process improvement project experience
  • Business intelligence solution experience
  • Knowledge of sales & operations planning
  • Data visualization and consolidation expertise

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in driving process improvement projects from idea to implementation and adoption.
  • Experience with business intelligence solutions for data analysis, visualization, wire frames and supply chain planning KPIs.
  • Knowledge and experience with integrated planning solutions, sales and operations planning cycle management.
  • Excellent technical acumen and leadership across organizational and team boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze forecast/demand signals to drive integration and improve visibility/accuracy of data for GSO labor planning.
  • Provide integrated plans, labor capacity models and lead cross-functional alignment to keep projects on schedule.
  • Support cross-functional program management and analysis ensuring sites are ready to support demand fluctuations, urgent customer needs, and more.
  • Leverage best practices and various approaches of data visualization and consolidation across systems to improve operational efficiency and supply chain visibility.
  • Use program management and analytics to simplify business flows and enable faster decision making as well as execution.
