Purpose-led work you’ll be part of
As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of solutions-driven and problem-solving individuals, apply your technology experience and stakeholder management, to drive forward projects and programmes from strategy to execution.
You’ll be responsible for conceptualising and designing robust and scalable technical solutions that enable our clients’ strategic objectives and support their long term growth goals. You will work closely with Business and Technology architects on a variety of engagements across industry sectors to develop Business and IT Strategies, IT / Architecture Assessments, Business and Solution Blueprinting and Solution Design engagements.
We differentiate ourselves with our meticulous focus and collaborative working style to deliver the highest quality work products. Our Solution Architects should be proficient in Consulting and Architecture fundamentals.
You will work with your team to:
Provide Solution architecture and delivery skills and experience, including broad understanding of business, data, application and technology architecture domains (Applications, Infrastructure, Integration, Security, Data etc)
Collaborate with the Business Architects to create and maintain strategic roadmaps, principles, standards and reference architectures
Work with IT executives to define, understand and document the IT strategy and desired IT capabilities, iterate new IT capabilities into the future state technology architecture in support of the business strategy
Maintain the technical architecture structure from business capability to applications to data
Provide deep technical knowledge and guide Project Architects to ensure compliance with enterprise and functional area strategic roadmaps
Ensure interoperability across functional domains
Collaborate with the Projects and Programmes to develop programme/project level requirements
Monitor projects for compliance with the technical architecture
Align with Portfolio Management and verify budget and resource commitment to support roadmaps (via architecture dependencies and prioritisation)
Establish strong working relationships with senior business, technology and change management, in the capacity of a trusted advisor on Architecture matter
Communicate the practical implications of architectural decisions, issues and plans to senior business stakeholder, technical delivery and IT management.
Identify and promote opportunities for cross-business sharing / re-use of application components, rationalise of application portfolios and integrated architectures
Establish strategic alliances, and leads joint ventures with key IT suppliers and business partners
Awareness or design and delivery experience across some of the following technologies: Omnichannel Technologies (such as Amazon Connect), CRM (Salesforce / Microsoft Dynamics), Oracle Fusion / SAP S4/HANA /Workday, Finance Management, Cloud (Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP), Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, ServiceNow, uiPath Task Mining and Celonis Process Mining, Global Risk Compliance (GRC) platforms, Wider knowledge of secure design principles, services, controls and data ETL
Your Profile
Develop and lead high impact Technology Consulting project proposals, developing detailed project scope, deliverables and work plans.
Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
Be involved in the financial management of clients
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical competence
Develop strategies to tackle sophisticated technical challenges
Participate in providing technology assessments in support of automation and technology migration initiatives.
Experience in documenting and socialising your solution design and conducting review and challenge sessions.
Experience leading client, vendor/service provider and other customer communications
A broad understanding across all architecture domains with an in depth knowledge of one or more architecture domain e.g. application, data, integration or infrastructure would be beneficial
Mentoring junior team members and running day to day activities of the team.
