UI & VISUAL DESIGNER (M/F/D)

What do we do?

Thinkproject is a European market-leader in digitalisation tools for construction companies. It sounds complex, but we'll explain further! Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project!). Using our construction intelligence solutions, businesses can go digital, which benefits everyone from the construction companies to the wider public.

Our mission is to deliver digitalisation to make a safer, healthier and more sustainable AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Operations) industry. This is a really exciting time to join our company, since our founding in 2000 we have gone from strength-to-strength and have lots of exciting developments coming up soon that you could be a part of.

We are looking for an enthusiastic UI Designer (m/f/d) joining our design team for collaboration products (CDEs). You will work alongside different product teams and be involved in the entire product development process, from product research and conception to launch and analytics.

What your day will look like

· You will contribute to the future of how the construction industry work digitally with stunning user interface designs by being actively involved in defining product development, innovation, and creation

· You will collaborate with other members of UI team to create perfect and usable design systems

· You will collaborate closely with Product Designers to support them with their projects

· You will design usable components and interfaces for our products, and translate them into testable high-fidelity prototypes

· You will be a part of a design team working together with the common process and supporting each other on daily basis

· You will actively shape and create a design culture at Thinkproject

· You will verify product interface with end-users through user research methods

What you need to fulfill the role

· You have at least 3 years of experience in UI Design and/or visual/graphic design background

· You have an eye for details, you feel the esthetics and love visual/graphic design

· You are fluent in Figma (our tool of choice)

· You can create components according to the recent Figma updates, you are familiar with variables, properties and auto layout

· You have an experience working with different complex Design Systems and it’s something you can work with every day

· You can create icons, illustrations and other interface graphics with no trouble

· You can create all assets according to the company branding

· You have proven track record of designing and shipping multiple digital product designs including desktop and mobile apps (native and cross-platform)

· You have a portfolio that demonstrates a keen sense of visual design, for responsive mobile and web applications

· You are familiar with UI research and patterns, and you can provide the best UI solutions

· You are familiar with touch devices behaviors, transitions and motions

· You love creating micro animations like loaders or progress bars

· You are familiar with Lottie Files (our tool of choice) for micro animations and transitions with Figma integration, or you are keen to learn it

· You are familiar with Google Material Design and accessible interfaces (according to AA standards)

· You are a hands-on person, and a team player, who can support your colleagues on daily basis

· You are self-efficient, and if you don’t know something you know you can figure it out.

· You understand the deadline timeline delivery and you can organize your work accordingly

· You are ok working with Scrum and Design Sprints

· You want to grow within the company and expand your responsibilities

· You have an experience in SaaS web applications and B2B software

· Fluent in English
