Job Summary

Job Description

As an Unreal Developer at welevel, you will be responsible for developing various game features such as inventory, multiplayer, building systems, skills, combat, and procedural world building. You will prototype new gameplay elements and integrate them with the team, working in a collaborative and innovative environment. The role requires experience in Unreal Engine and C++, and a team-player attitude is essential.
Must have:
  • Experience working on at least one game in Unreal Engine.
  • Minimum intermediate C++ skills.
  • Good knowledge of replication and event-driven programming.
  • Basic understanding of Gameplay Ability System (GAS).
  • Ability to structure code using categories and comments.
  • Strong team-player attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of Version Control System (Git).
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of AI.

Your Role

In our team, developers take care of inventory, multiplayer, building system, skills, combat, procedural world building etc. They prototype new gameplay elements and integrate them with the other team members.


Requirements

  • Worked at least on one game before (in unreal)
  • Minimum intermediate C++ skills
  • Good knowledge of replication and how to work event-driven
  • Having a basic understanding of Gameplay Ability System (GAS)
  • Using categories and comments to structure your code
  • Our team is based on supporting and embracing each other, being a team-player is a must
  • Basic knowledge of Version-Control-System (Git)
  • Knowing AI is a bonus
  • Onsite position.
