Responsibilities include profiling and optimizing CPU/GPU performance across various hardware, identifying and resolving rendering bottlenecks (shaders, lighting, culling, etc.), developing efficient rendering techniques (occlusion culling, mesh batching), collaborating with other teams to balance visual fidelity and performance, optimizing memory usage and asset loading for open-world environments, improving graphics pipelines (DX12/Vulkan), and working with partners on AI-based upscaling solutions. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of AAA game rendering and optimization experience, expertise in profiling tools, strong shader programming skills (HLSL/GLSL), deep understanding of multi-threaded rendering and GPU memory management, proficiency in C++, and experience with open-world environments and procedural assets.
