Key responsibilities include rotating through business-critical roles and functions like Activision's security team, operation strategy team, and game development studios, driving business development, working on company initiatives. The program offers the opportunity for growth, leadership, and professional development.
Must have:
  • Currently enrolled in a master’s or PhD program, graduating in May or June 2025.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Available to start the program September 8, 2025, in Los Angeles, California.
  • Skilled in strategic technology planning and analytics.
  • Experience in project management.
Good to have:
  • Understanding of game security, game development, and/or anti-cheat software.
  • Consulting experience.
  • Experience with Databricks (SQL and Python)

Job Description:

Your Mission:  

Activision’s Rotation Manager program is a 2-year program that rotates individuals across 3 teams for 8 months at a time. It is an accelerated development initiative designed to provide participants with unparalleled opportunities for growth, leadership, and professional development. Rotation participants rotate through business-critical roles and functions across Activision's various teams and studios. They work on company initiatives that have a direct impact on the bottom line and future success, while developing connectivity across groups to enable more communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. The program includes hands-on experience, mentorship, and training, with rotations in areas such as Analytics & Insights, Business Development, and Strategy, for our Game Teams/Products. Participants are part of a supportive and inclusive community committed to their success, with regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and networking opportunities to ensure they have the resources needed to thrive.

Some of the programmatic features include a 1-week new hire welcome week that provides a deep dive into the gaming industry and company; development weeks at the end of each rotation that include report outs around best practices, case study competitions, and cohort bonding; and regular feedback.

This role is anticipated to be assigned to work on-site at Activision offices. Onsite requirements may differ from rotation to rotation.

What you bring to the table

  • Rotate through business-critical roles and functions like Activision's security team, operation strategy team, and game development studios.
  • Drive business development as involved with strategies and activities focused on identifying, nurturing, and acquiring new opportunities for growth. This includes partnerships, market expansion, and revenue streams ultimately aiming to increase profitability and market share.
  • Work on company initiatives that have a direct impact on the bottom line and/or set us up for the future. 
  • Develop connectivity across groups enabling more communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across the enterprise. 
  • Build your knowledge base with trainings designed to provide a deep dive into new products/service delivery methods, game and player analytics, corporate strategy, game development processes, etc. 
  • Expand your personal development with workshops around influencing methods, leadership skills, work/life balance, and more. 
  • Support continual program enhancements and mentor future participants. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a master’s or PhD program and graduating in May or June of 2025 (business programs preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Available to start the program September 8, 2025, in Los Angeles, California
  • Skilled in strategic technology planning and analytics, with experience developing key processes, procedures, and actionable recommendations across complex business environments
  • Experience in project management and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated leadership through influence and collaboration, with advanced interpersonal and relationship management capabilities
  • Can move nimbly between strategy and execution
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders
