Prismatic Studios seeks a 3D Character Artist to oversee the quality of outsourced character assets and contribute to character creation. Responsibilities include creating high-quality character assets (models, textures, materials) aligned with project requirements; ensuring technical compatibility within Unreal Engine; debugging character-related effects; collaborating with other teams; and reviewing/providing feedback on outsourced assets. This full-time contract role in Auckland, New Zealand, requires Chinese proficiency and mastery of Maya, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine. Strong art fundamentals and PBR workflow knowledge are essential. Experience managing external vendors is highly valued.
