This Account Strategist role within Google Customer Solutions focuses on mid-market sales, requiring fluency in French and English. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly growth goals, managing a portfolio of medium-to-large businesses, proactively pitching and consulting with clients on their digital marketing strategies and budgets, driving customer growth through excellent sales experiences, and building strong client and agency relationships. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in advertising, sales, or marketing, demonstrating skills in consultative sales, objection handling, and performance marketing. They should also be adept at building compelling narratives and leveraging storytelling in client engagement. The role involves understanding clients' growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and developing multi-quarter plans for achieving business objectives.
Must have:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • Ability to communicate in French and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged promotions.
  • Experience managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

  • Own a portfolio of medium- and large-size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering excellent customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
