Job Description

This entry-level Administrative Assistant position in Shah Alam, Selangor, requires support in day-to-day office activities, facility management, event planning, and ISO 27001 compliance. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, managing equipment maintenance, maintaining inventory, handling clerical duties, and providing general support to visitors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite is essential. Additional skills in video/photo editing or streaming software are a plus. The role demands strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Must have:

High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite
Problem-solving and reporting skills
Attention to detail
Time management and organization
Teamwork

Good to have:

Video/photo editing or streaming software skills

Key focus: Assist with day to day activities, facility management, event and
administrative Technical Support.

- Assist with day to day activities
- Assist on internal and external event planning and coordination
- Assist on ISO 27001 compliances
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
- Provide general support to visitors
- Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance
requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories;
evaluating new equipment and techniques
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level;
anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies;
verifying receipt of supplies
- Implement clerical duties, administrative processes and assist with data
entry.

Preferred skills & proficiencies:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Problem solving and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office / Google Sheet / Google applications.
- Accurate and pay attention to details.
- Resourcefulness, patience and good team work.
- Cheerful, active and sporty person.
- Good in time management and organizing skills.
- Proficiency in skills like video/ photo editing or streaming software would be
a plus.
