Job Description

As a Field Service Technician (Electrician) for Tesla, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of energy storage and Supercharger networks in Croatia and potentially abroad. This role requires troubleshooting, root-cause analysis (both remotely and on-site), stakeholder management, and preventing recurring issues. You'll collaborate with engineering teams, manage your own workload, and ensure optimal performance of Tesla's energy infrastructure. The position necessitates experience with low- and medium-voltage electrical systems (high-voltage experience is a plus), a passion for renewable energy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively. Fluency in Croatian and English is required, along with an EU passport or work permit.

Must have:

Experience as an electrical technician
Low/Medium Voltage electrical systems expertise
Troubleshooting and repair skills
Excellent communication skills
Proactive and independent work style
Fluency in Croatian and English

Good to have:

High Voltage experience
Experience with renewable energy

What to Expect

As a Field Service Technician in our Energy and Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure both our Renewable Energy Storage products and our Superchargers are operating at their best. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be travelling to sites and perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Croatia. What You’ll Do

Perform all on-site technical activities: related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage and Supercharging network in Croatia and abroad when needed
Troubleshoot and perform root - cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
Stakeholder managment - act as the first point of contact to contractors
Prevent recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
Organizational tasks, like preparing, organizing, and planning your own technical activities

What You’ll Bring

Experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field
Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
A passion for renewable energy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
Flexible towards travelling
Fluency in Croatia and a good command of English
An EU passport or work permit is needed for this position
