Job Description

The Ads Operations Specialist will manage the trafficking, optimization, and reporting of digital ad campaigns across various platforms, ensuring seamless delivery and maximum performance. Responsibilities include monitoring campaign performance, troubleshooting, ensuring client compliance, preparing performance reports, supporting business analysis, participating in pre-sales activities (client discussions, RFPs, feasibility assessments), collaborating with internal teams, documenting best practices, and staying current with digital advertising trends. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in ad serving platforms (like Google Ad Manager), and excellent communication skills.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Ad Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the trafficking, optimization, and reporting of digital ad campaigns, ensuring seamless delivery and maximum performance. This role is critical in supporting our advertising initiatives and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive success.

Key Responsibilities

Trafficking, managing, and optimizing ad campaigns across various platforms.
Monitoring campaign performance, troubleshooting delivery issues, and ensuring compliance with client requirements.
Preparing and analyzing campaign performance reports, providing actionable insights to improve outcomes.
Supporting business analysis efforts by identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue growth.
Participating in pre-sales activities, including attending client discussions, filling RFPs (Request for Proposals), and providing technical feasibility assessments for proposed campaigns.
Collaborating with sales, programmatic, and analytics teams to achieve campaign goals.
Documenting and implementing best practices for ad operations workflows.
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in digital advertising, including ad serving, programmatic platforms, and identity solutions.

Requirements

Experience: 2+ years in digital ad operations, programmatic advertising, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ad serving platforms such as Google Ad Manager (GAM), with knowledge of header bidding and programmatic technologies.
Reporting Tools: Strong experience in generating and analyzing reports using tools like Excel (advanced), Google Sheets, or similar analytics platforms.
Office Skills: High proficiency with Google Business Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Analytical Ability: Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate campaign delivery and reporting.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility: Ability to work US Time Zone hours (EST) to align with client and team schedules.
