Job Description

Communix seeks a talented Art Lead for a hands-on and managerial role. Responsibilities include guiding the art team, ensuring visual asset consistency, designing UI/UX assets (sketches, mockups, wireframes, animations, 2D assets), developing visual concepts, overseeing the game production pipeline, working in an Agile environment, leading rapid iterations and testing, and reviewing final products. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of senior creative experience in gaming, a deep understanding of UI/UX principles, vast knowledge of various art disciplines (2D, UI/UX, animation, illustration), and fluency in English. The role demands adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

Description

Communix is the next generation of multiplayer gaming uniting people around the gaming world in the most realistic way, face to face.

We're looking for a very talented Art Lead! This role is both hands-on and managerial.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance and direction to the art team, ensuring consistency and quality in all visual assets
Design new UI/UX assets and features for our games, creating sketches, mockups, wireframes, UI animations, and 2D UI assets.
Develop visual concepts and ideas.
Overlook a complete game production pipeline.
Working in an Agile environment and design methods while working with Product and R&D.
Lead rapid iterations and testing on a variety of concepts and features, from wireframes to fully designed compositions.
Review final products and ensure they are fun and pixel perfect.

Requirements

Proven experience (2+ years) in a senior creative role in the gaming industry - MUST
Deep understanding of UI/UX principles and what it takes to create a great player experience
Vast knowledge in all needed art disciplines (2D, UI/UX, animation, illustration)
Fluent English both verbal and written
You're versatile and can adapt to a fast-paced working environment where speed and innovation are key
