We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Associate Manager of Site Merchandising with a global brand at one of three locations: Bentonville, AR, Hoboken, NJ, or San Bruno, CA. This is a 6+ month contract with hybrid work options (1-2 days onsite).
In this role, you will be a key player in driving your client’s digital transformation, ensuring the best online shopping experience for their customers. As the Associate Manager of Site Merchandising, you will manage day-to-day site merchandising operations, working closely with creative, marketing, and category teams to bring the client’s digital vision to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all content, creative, and site merchandising operations, ensuring the desired shopper/member experience is delivered.
- Develop wireframes and work orders for content and creative teams to streamline processes.
- Use CMS & merchandising tools to create site categories, shelves, and experiences that enhance the customer journey.
- Manage the development process and site merchandising operations, preparing dev handoffs and driving projects to completion.
- Ensure seasonal items and cross-category solutions are easily discoverable, optimizing navigation and content to drive engagement.
- Partner with Category Managers and Marketing Managers to design compelling member experiences, using customer insights and trends to inform channel recommendations.
- Translate competitive insights and market share opportunities into frictionless, inspiring online shopping experiences.
- Enhance homepage, navigation, taxonomy, search (internal and external), and browsing features to improve digital engagement.
- Analyze data to monitor site performance and extract actionable insights to optimize merchandising strategies.
- Create and share regular reports with stakeholders, communicating key findings and recommending improvements to plans, programs, and initiatives.
- Lead and manage multiple business plans and mid-sized site merchandising operations projects, prioritizing workload based on business needs.
- Implement and scale processes, embedding operational excellence into every aspect of site merchandising.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in site merchandising, digital marketing, or a similar field with a proven track record of managing online retail experiences.
- Expertise in CMS platforms, merchandising tools, and wireframing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Proficiency in data analysis, using insights to optimize site performance and inform merchandising strategies.
- Collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with creative, marketing, category, and digital teams.
- Strong communication skills for sharing reports, insights, and recommendations effectively.
- Understanding of customer behavior, competitive insights, and omni-channel strategies.
