Job Description

As an Associate Strategist, Customer Onboarding, Acquisitions, you'll be responsible for building and managing relationships with new Google advertising clients, understanding their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics. You'll work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard. You'll also plan for, and achieve, business growth targets through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives. You'll be expected to develop forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers. The Customer Onboarding team operates like a Start-Up - 'Run It Like You Own It' mentality - to enable creativity thought-leadership with a self-management team practice.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English for client relationship management
Good to have:
  • Experience in customer-facing consulting or business
  • Experience in reaching out to customers/cold calling and helping customers to add value to their business
  • Experience working in a digital agency, with a Google product focus
  • Experience in the TV or media industry

You will own a set of new customers for six months to make them successful long-term and grow the next generation of high-potential customers for Google.

You work with a highly engaged, fun team and bring creativity to grow and transform. The Customer Onboarding team operates like a Start-Up - 'Run It Like You Own It' mentality - to enable creativity thought-leadership with a self-management team practice.

In this role, you will demonstrate your strengths in product knowledge, consultative business (we pitch to our clients), and account management - work cross-functionally with our acquisitions, product, program, and same-store teams.
