DESCRIPTION
As our Audio Programmer at BULKHEAD, you will be working in a multidisciplinary team to design, create and maintain the software features and tools that designers rely on to realise our games. You will have excellent knowledge of recent versions of Unreal Engine and be confident using C++ to implement required features.
You will work closely with Audio Designers and other Audio Programmers in your team as well as members of the wider team when required.
You will be comfortable sharing knowledge with your peers in Audio and Programming while learning from them to develop your own skills. You will have the ability to effectively articulate thorough written documentation, technical systems and ideas to others with differing technical proficiencies so that they are informed enough to perform their duties.
You will be responsible for implementing gameplay features with an emphasis on audio-related features. You will consider the impact of your work on other areas of the software you work on, including general and network performance, and be responsible for ensuring that Audio-related systems fall in-line with each project’s overall restrictions and goals. While you will have a broad knowledge of game systems, you will focus on audio-related technologies and concepts and be an expert on Audio software and workflows within the Programming team.
This is an in-studio role and this is non-negotiable however; we can offer bespoke relocation packages.
If you have the skills and passion we are looking for and want to be part of something special, we want to hear from you!
