Bazaarvoice is seeking an Authenticity Agent to monitor user-generated content for fraudulent activity. The role involves protecting consumers from inauthentic content by identifying and researching fraudulent behavior in a case management system. This position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to learn quickly, and independent investigation. The agent will be trained in a 4-day paid program and will commit to a semi-flexible schedule of 20 hours per week, including one weekend shift per month. Responsibilities include using fraud detection applications, reviewing transactions to improve quality, attending coaching sessions, and utilizing various communication and office tools.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years in fast-paced environment
- Online fraud prevention experience preferred

Who We Want
The Authenticity Agent’s main responsibilities center around monitoring large volumes of user generated content with respect to fraudulent activity. Agents learn what review fraud is and is not, to tirelessly protect consumers from inauthentic content. Agents utilize a case management system to identify and research content for fraudulent behavior and take appropriate action against this content.
The Authenticity Agent actively participates in a 4-day, paid training program. The blended curriculum consists of multiple virtual meetings, online group activities, as well as offline self-study. The Authenticity Agent will have strong analytical skills, the ability to learn and apply concepts quickly and investigate trends independently. Start date for this role will be Monday, August 18, 2025.
After the training program is complete, the Authenticity Agent will commit to working a semi-flexible schedule of 20 hours per week, in a set 2-hour block. This includes one, 2-hour block on the weekend, once a month.
What You'll Be Doing
- Utilize fraud detection applications to research and resolve potential fraud coming from user generated content, while applying Bazaarvoice's Authenticity policies and best practices.
- Regularly review logged transactions to identify areas of opportunities to increase quality of work.
- Attend 1:1 coaching sessions and team meetings as scheduled.
- Leverage Slack regularly to engage with the team.
- Utilize (Word, Excel, and Outlook, Google Drive, Google applications), online communication tools (Slack, Teams), and other web applications.
Who You Are
- Earned a bachelor’s degree or equivalent international credential.
- Live in and have authorization to work in the United States. MUST be a resident of one of these states: TX (preferred and priority state), AR, FL, GA, IL, NC or OH.
- 3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferred in online fraud prevention or investigation.
- Strong aptitude to identify trends, analyze data and explore new strategies.
- Passion for analyzing and researching historical trends.
- Confident in making decisions and acting when things are obscure.
- Commit to taking ownership of your job performance to achieve or exceed performance benchmarks and metrics.
- Consistently committed to working a semi-flexible schedule of 20 hours per week, including one, 2-hour shift on the weekend, once a month.
- Excel at actively engaging with team members in a remote environment.
- Proficient with Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook), online communication tools (Slack and Teams), and forums, and web applications.
