Job Description

XBorg is seeking a talented Back-End Software Engineer to join their tech team and build game-changing apps for millions of players and fans. Responsibilities include architecting backend systems for scalability and efficiency, optimizing performance, prioritizing security, developing and maintaining APIs, and diagnosing and resolving issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku/AWS, Docker, and Typescript, as well as a passion for gaming and/or Web3/decentralized technologies.

Must have:

Experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku/AWS, Docker, and Typescript
5+ years of experience in software development
Passion for gaming or Web3/decentralized technologies

Responsabilities

Build and Scale Backend Systems: Architect backend systems designed for scalability and efficiency. You’ll work with high traffic and large data sets, so expect to optimize for performance and resilience.
Optimize and Monitor: Keep a close eye on performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and continuously improving response times and stability.
Prioritize Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard both system integrity and data privacy.
Develop and Maintain APIs: Design APIs that connect our frontend applications with backend logic, focusing on reliability and clarity.
Diagnose and Resolve Issues: Tackle bugs and technical issues as they arise, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and long-term fixes.

What You Might Bring

Experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku/AWS, Docker, and Typescript.
5+ years of experience in full-time or part-time software development, or you've built your own products/projects as a backend engineer.
Passion for gaming and/or Web3/decentralized technologies.
