Starkflow seeks a dynamic Business Development Intern for a 3-month, full-time, on-site role in Gurgaon, India. The intern will directly engage with tech companies, building relationships with key stakeholders (HR managers, C-suite executives) to introduce and sell Starkflow's services. Responsibilities include physically visiting company offices, representing Starkflow at trade shows and HR events, conducting market research, gathering client feedback, and contributing to improved marketing strategies. This role offers hands-on sales experience and networking opportunities within the tech and HR industry. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, customer empathy, strong time management, and prior experience in sales or event marketing is a plus.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing BD Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in face-to-face interactions and has a knack for building meaningful connections. The intern will be responsible for physically visiting tech company offices, networking with key stakeholders, and representing Starkflow at trade shows and HR events. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop hands-on sales experience and build a professional network in the tech and HR industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Direct Sales and Networking:

  • Visit offices of tech companies to introduce and sell Starkflow’s services.
  • Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, including HR managers, C-suite executives, and other decision-makers.
 

Event Representation and Marketing:

  • Attend trade shows, offline HR events, and other networking opportunities to promote Starkflow and its services.
  • Showcase a professional demeanor and effectively communicate the company’s value propositions to potential clients.
 

Market Research and Feedback Collection:

  • Gather insights into client needs, preferences, and challenges.
  • Provide feedback to the internal team to enhance services and marketing strategies.
 

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for building relationships and engaging with diverse stakeholders.

Interpersonal Skills: Extroverted personality with a natural talent for networking and forging connections.

Customer Empathy: Strong ability to understand client needs, empathize with their challenges, and suggest tailored solutions effectively.

Time Management and Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Sales and Networking Skills: Prior experience in sales, event marketing, or business development is a plus, showcasing comfort in client-facing roles and event participation.

Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced settings, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
