Job Description

The Cleanroom Lead is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and will safely provide work direction to cleanroom staff. Key responsibilities include performing janitorial duties, executing daily schedules, assisting the Cleanroom Supervisor with scheduling and training, operating motorized cleaning equipment, tracking equipment inventory and maintenance, scheduling repairs, maintaining daily upkeep of assigned areas, tracking supplies inventory, and assisting with purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment. The role also involves performing quality, service, and safety inspections, reporting incidents and hazardous conditions, managing employee personnel and customer issues, and monitoring employee use of personal protective equipment. The lead will also correct at-risk behavior and provide recommendations for improvement.
Must have:

  • High school diploma / GED
  • 1 year of experience
  • English language comprehension
Good to have:
  • Bilingual
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Completed safety and task training certification
  • Forklift certified
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment upkeep
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals

Position at SBM Management

 

The Cleanroom Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and will safely provide some work direction to cleanroom staff.  

Responsibilities  
  • Perform janitorial duties 
  • Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule 
  • Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Cleanroom Supervisor 
  • Assist Cleanroom Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed 
  • Operate motorized cleaning equipment 
  • Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair 
  • Schedule clean up and repair as needed 
  • Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area 
  • Track and maintain supplies inventory 
  • Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment 
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections 
  • Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor 
  • Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor 
  • Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies 
  • Correct at risk behavior, then report to the supervisor immediately 
  • Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement 
Qualifications  
  • High school diploma / GED required with 6 mo. – 1 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual a plus 
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus 
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • Completed all safety and task training certification. 
  • May be required to be forklift certified.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team. 
  • Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment. 
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
  • English language comprehension   

Shift:

Sunday-Thursday 6:15am-2:45pm

Compensation: $16.45-$17.45 per hour
