Job Description

The Commodity Classification - Assistant Manager will undertake and advise on HS code Tariff classification for goods and services. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, clarifying classification queries, providing training to support team members, monitoring daily activities, preparing KPIs, and ensuring Sanction Party List compliance in Export Control. Responsibilities include working with global stakeholders, utilizing SAP GTS, and demonstrating a working knowledge of HS codes and classification systems across different countries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and an understanding of trade regulations.

Job Description

Undertaking and advising HS code Tariff classification in the area of goods and services
Collaborating and communicating with various stakeholders on classification matters
Clarifying queries of stakeholders on classification matters
Providing training to new members of the support team
Monitoring day to day activity of the support team in classification processing
Preparing KPIs
Undertaking Sanction Party List compliance in Export Control

Qualifications

LLB / CA (Inter) / B.Com / B.Sc./ B.A./ BBM
