Job Description
This HANA Admin role at Ness Digital Engineering requires 4+ years of experience, with 2+ years specifically in SAP HANA (Cloud/On-Prem) as a DBA or developer. Responsibilities include database architecture (SDI/SDA), scripting, modeling, automation, database optimization and tuning, SQL expertise, user/role management, and working in multi-layer environments. Experience with transport methods and ETL tools is a plus. The candidate should possess strong analytical and debugging skills, be well-organized, and willing to share knowledge. The role involves working on multiple technologies/platforms and requires good documentation skills.
Must have:
- 4+ years exp, 2+ in SAP HANA (Cloud/On-Prem)
- Expert in HANA database architecture (SDI/SDA)
- Strong SQL, scripting, and automation skills
- Database optimization & tuning expertise
- User & Role management experience
- Multi-layer environment experience
- Understanding of transport (Code lifecycle) methods
Good to have:
- ETL tool/technology administration experience
- Basic understanding of SAP BTP
- Strong problem analysis and debugging skills

Skill Set :
- 4+ years of work experience, 2+ on SAP HANA (Cloud/On Prem) as DBA or developer.
- Expert knowledge in HANA database architecture, SDI/SDA
- Strong knowledge scripting languages, modelling and automation tools.
- Very good technical expertise in optimizing and tuning databases & SQL (Performance optimization)
- Experience of User & Role management on HANA (or other SAP products)
- Experience of working in multi-layer environment & Strong understanding of transport (Code lifecycle) methods
- Willingness to work on multiple technology/platform
Preferred (Good to have)
- Technical experience with any ETL tool/technology administration is a plus
- Basic understanding of SAP BTP
- Ability to analyse and debug complex problems
- Well organized, willingness to own topics and share the knowledge with the team
- Good documentation skills
