We’re hiring a Conversational Designer for an exciting remote opportunity with one of our leading clients in the financial services industry. In this role, you'll help shape the future of conversational banking by designing intuitive chatbot and voice assistant experiences for mobile users.

As a Conversational Designer, you'll play a critical role in creating engaging, user-friendly chatbot and voice interactions that help customers seamlessly navigate their banking needs. This position is ideal for someone with a background in UX writing, interaction design, or voice-forward systems who is passionate about user-centered design and innovation in the digital space.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and iterate conversational flows for a mobile banking chatbot, ensuring seamless integration and intuitive user experiences.

• Develop and enhance voice-forward navigation systems, including commands and responses that improve user interactions.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, UX/UI designers, and customer support to align conversational design with strategic business goals.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate chatbot interactions and refine designs based on feedback.

• Leverage performance data to identify optimization opportunities and continuously improve the user experience.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and conversational AI best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Conversational Design, UX/UI writing, or interaction design, ideally with a focus on chatbot or voice applications.

• Experience designing voice-forward navigation for digital products.

• Familiarity with conversational design principles, natural language processing (NLP), and voice user interface (VUI) best practices.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and accessibility standards.

• Exceptional writing, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to convey design rationale clearly.

• Proficiency with tools such as Figma and/or VoiceFlow.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with accessibility-focused design.

• Familiarity with agile development and tools like Jira and Confluence.

• Background in the financial services industry, especially banking, is a plus.
