About the job:
As a Customer Engineer, you will equip companies with Google tools to make technology at work more equitable, simple, secure, and shareable so that they may focus resources on areas that matter most. You will inspire leading companies and government agencies to work smarter with cloud or web first strategies through Chrome Enterprise, and take advantage of advanced Enterprise capabilities for administrative controls. This is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in Korean with local stakeholders. Responsibilities include identifying customers business and technical requirements, collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing customer feedback to the product teams guiding future product direction, delivering and devising solution proposals supporting value statements against those needs and bringing Google’s innovation into their infrastructures, confidently presenting to persuade a technology leadership audience, working with the Sales team to guide and accelerate the transition of leading companies, partners, and government agencies to Chrome Enterprise, which encompasses Chrome Browser, Chrome OS, and management capabilities, identifying key customer technical objections and developing the strategy to resolve technical impediments, making recommendations on use cases, integration strategies, security, and device management policies required to successfully implement a complete solution, and leading technical aspects of solution evaluations including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept facilitation, the coordination of supporting technical resources within Google and our channel.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in pre-sales engineering or similar partner facing role
  • Experience with managed endpoint devices
  • Experience with Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)/Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
  • Experience with solution implementation and use of Public Cloud
  • Experience architecting and supporting software deployment for enterprises
  • Experience with localization issues handling
  • Korean language proficiency

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience working in a pre-sales engineer or similar partner facing role, including working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with managed endpoint devices (e.g., PC or mobile) and the growing ecosystem of browser-based applications and collaboration tools.
  • Experience with Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)/Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Intune, AirWatch, MobileIron, Jamf, Chrome Enterprise).
  • Experience with solution implementation and use of Public Cloud (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, etc.).
  • Experience architecting and supporting software deployment for enterprises, primarily within Device Management solutions and end user computing.
  • Experience with localization issues handling such as Korean IME, Korean keyboard mapping, and familiarity with Android and Chrome.
