Customer Support Engineer

Customer Support Engineer is the contact person for all quality related issues at customer locations, CSE will be responsible for ensure customer satisfaction on assigned projects and customer quality KPI’s performance. This role support that processes are compliant to standards: automotive (IATF); customers (AIAG, VDA); supplier and internal. CSE support safe introduction of product & process changes, Co-validates new projects to ensure customer satisfaction and support the development of quality assurance system.
Your role:
cooperate with customer & plant quality engineers to rapidly address quality escapes
is responsible for review customer portals
is responsible for update and communicate to the organization the value stream customer satisfaction metrics
coordinate & collaborate with SQA for Aptiv component suppliers (TIER2) quality related issues
track & analyze COPQ & COPD for all on site reworks
is responsible for customer process surveillance
ensure the Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) compliance
support customer audits / visits to ensure audit / visit success at the Aptiv plant
support customer & Aptiv warranty engineer on warranty related items
perform a risk assessment & feasibility study for reworks activities in sils & at Customer
own the quality problem management system
participate in the change management process, ensuring changes to the product and production processes are safely introduced
actively contribute to risk identification & mitigation process for manual assemblies
Your background:
Technical/engineer degree
Deep understanding of Quality Systems (IATF 16949) and customer standards (AIAG, VDA)
Practical knowledge of quality tools (PDA, 8D, PPAP etc.)
Logical thinking / rigourous / organized
Customer oriented
Work well under daily pressure / Like to be challenged /
Team player
Fluent English
Potential candidates should have automotive background (preferred experience in quality engineering)
Good knowledge of Ms Office
Frequent travel to the Customer located in Nosovice (Czech Republic) is required
