Job Summary
Job Description
The Data Science Intern will support the research and development of innovative AI solutions, reporting to the Director of Data Science and Machine Learning. This role involves tackling business problems and developing solutions for challenges in mobile gaming and AdTech. Responsibilities include formulating problem statements, prototyping, testing with stakeholders, and refining solutions with engineers. The intern will utilize Machine Learning/Deep Learning to solve business problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, work with a rich database to create impactful models, and write efficient code for data cleaning, EDA, and modeling. The intern will also contribute to the data science community by sharing ideas and representing Mistplay.
Must have:
- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Matplotlib)
- Understanding of Machine Learning models and statistical techniques
- Data cleaning, EDA, and statistical or machine learning modeling
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree in Data Science or related field
Good to have:
- Experience in Machine Learning Engineering

La stagiaire en science des données jouera un rôle de soutien dans la recherche et la contribution à des solutions innovantes en matière d'intelligence artificielle. Tu seras rattachée à notre directeur de la science des données et de l'apprentissage automatique. En tant que stagiaire en science des données, tu seras confrontée à des problèmes commerciaux et tu aideras à trouver des solutions aux principaux défis de l'industrie des jeux mobiles et de la technologie publicitaire. Tu aideras à formuler des énoncés de problèmes, à créer des prototypes, à les tester avec les parties prenantes et à travailler avec nos ingénieurs pour affiner la solution. Nous recherchons des stagiaires passionnées et motivées, désireuses d'apprendre et de s'attaquer à des problèmes intéressants et percutants.
Tes missions chez Mistplay:
Mettre à l'épreuve tes connaissances en apprentissage automatique/apprentissage profond pour résoudre des problèmes commerciaux critiques et créer des produits d'IA dans un environnement de travail dynamique et rapide.
Participer à des projets d'apprentissage automatique impliquant une collaboration fréquente et proactive entre les équipes (produit, marketing, ingénierie, etc.) et les membres supérieurs de l'équipe.
Travailler avec une base de données riche qui poussera ta créativité à concevoir de nouveaux modèles qui auront un impact direct sur l'entreprise.
Écrire un code concis et modulaire qui gère le nettoyage des données, l'EDA et la modélisation statistique ou d'apprentissage automatique.
Contribuer à la création d'une communauté de scientifiques en partageant tes idées sur les opportunités de la science des données, en prenant la parole lors des démonstrations de sprint, et en représentant Mistplay lors de conférences externes.
Ce que tu apporteras à Mistplay:
Tu es une candidate qui poursuit ou obtiendra un diplôme en science des données ou dans un domaine connexe tel que l’informatique, les statistiques ou les mathématiques.
Expérience démontrable du travail avec des ensembles de données réels et maîtrise de Python et de ses progiciels : NumPy, Pandas, Sci-kit Learn, Tensorflow et Matplotlib.
Une solide compréhension des différents modèles d'apprentissage automatique et des techniques statistiques.
Une attitude positive et une bonne dose de curiosité naturelle. Nous apprécions les individus qui sont désireux de poser des questions et d'analyser des données pour découvrir des idées.
D'excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale, avec la capacité d'adapter les styles de communication à différents publics.
Une expérience pratique en ingénierie de l'apprentissage automatique sera considérée comme un atout important !
The Data Science Intern will play a supportive role in researching and contributing to innovative AI solutions. You will be reporting to our Director of Data Science and Machine Learning. As a Data Science Intern, you will gain exposure to business problems and assist in building solutions to core challenges in the mobile gaming/AdTech industry. You will help in formulating problem statements, creating prototypes, testing them with stakeholders, and working with our engineers to refine the solution. We’re looking for passionate, driven interns who are eager to learn and take on interesting and impactful problems.
What you’ll do at Misplay:
Challenge your knowledge of Machine Learning / Deep Learning to solve critical business problems and create AI products in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Participate machine learning projects involving frequent and proactive cross-team collaboration (Product, Marketing, Engineering, etc.) with senior team members
Work with a rich database that will push your creativity into engineering novel models that will have a direct impact on the company
Write concise, modular code that handles data cleaning, EDA and statistical or machine learning modeling
Help create a data science community by sharing your thoughts on data science opportunities, speaking at sprint demos, and representing Mistplay at external conferences
What you’ll bring to Mistplay:
Candidates who are completing or will complete a degree in Data Science or a related field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
Demonstrable experience working with real datasets and proficiency in Python and its packages: NumPy, Pandas, Sci-kit Learn, Tensorflow, and Matplotlib.
A strong understanding of various Machine Learning models and statistical techniques.
A positive attitude and a healthy dose of natural curiosity. We value individuals who are eager to ask questions and analyze data to uncover insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences.
Hands-on experience in Machine Learning Engineering will be considered a significant asset!
