Dapper Labs seeks a Senior Accountant to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial infrastructure of its Web3 projects. Responsibilities include month-end close processes (journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement preparation), implementing financial policies and controls, providing financial insights, managing virtual goods accounting, partnering with teams on digital asset best practices, developing and analyzing budgets, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate is a builder, Web3 enthusiast, strategic thinker, self-starter, and compliance-focused executor with experience in accounting, ideally in a fast-paced tech or blockchain environment. Strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge and advanced Excel skills are essential.

What we'll achieve together:
- This is a high-impact role with broad exposure across finance, blockchain operations, and digital assets. You will work directly with cross-functional teams—including Finance, Operations, Legal, and Product—to optimize financial processes in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Financial Operations & Reporting -- Own key aspects of the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Implement and enhance financial policies, controls, and automation to drive efficiency and scalability. Provide real-time financial insights and analytics to leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Blockchain & Digital Asset Accounting -- Manage financial operations for virtual goods and digital transactions, ensuring accurate accounting treatment. Partner with internal teams to refine best practices for tracking, custody, and valuation of digital assets. Stay ahead of emerging regulations and blockchain finance innovations, helping to define industry-leading accounting standards.
- Strategic Budgeting & Forecasting -- Collaborate with department leaders to develop, manage, and analyze budgets for both fiat and digital assets. Provide variance analysis and real-time forecasting insights to support data-driven financial decisions.
- Payroll & Compensation -- Process semi-monthly and off-cycle payroll for US and Canadian employees. Ensure accurate tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

- Experience with financial reporting, audits, internal controls, and process automation.
- Familiarity with crypto accounting, digital asset reconciliation, and blockchain transactions is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting standards.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- CPA or equivalent preferred but not required—what matters is your ability to execute.
