As a member of the Professional Services leadership team, the Director will deliver enterprise solutions, build relationships with clients and prospects, and develop team members. The Director establishes credibility, delivers value, and plays a leadership role. Responsibilities include aligning the team with the organization's strategic direction, defining success factors, driving revenue and margin goals, managing accounts, reporting statuses, and supporting software sales. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in supply chain and IT industries. The candidate should be well-versed in project financial management and have the ability to mentor, coach, and train team members.
Must have:
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in professional services.
  • Experience managing teams of 20+ professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and IT Industries.
  • Domain experience in enterprise software and SaaS/Cloud models.
  • Experience budgeting and maintaining P&L for a team.
Good to have:
  • Additional language skills beyond English.
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain applications.

DIRECTOR, PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Position Overview

As a member of the Professional Services leadership team, you will deliver enterprise solutions, initiate, build, and sustain relationships with clients and prospects, and develop and mentor team members. The (Senior) Director, Professional Services establishes credibility both internally and externally, deliver value, and play a signification leadership role in the next stage of the company’s growth.  As Director you will drive revenue and margin goals ensuring compliance with corporate targets.

Responsibilities

  • Align team to the strategic direction of the organization
  • Define success factors and identifies critical team goals and objectives
  • Responsible for team’s achievement of revenue realization, expense, and margin targets
  • Drive the teamwork necessary to resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner 
  • Manage accounts Worldwide with aligned PDs and associated technical and functional staff
  • Manage Customer Delivery Environments to success on scope, schedule, budget
  • Accurate and timely status reporting for team, every week
  • Ensure utilization in place or team members w/ focus on manager billability, based on variable targets
  • Manage operational reviews monthly and periodic update meetings for the staff to maintain clear lines of communication
  • Take leadership in supporting software and consulting sales
  • Drive successful E2open Partner interaction within programs
  • Interacts with Product Management, Product Development, and Customer Support organizations to support issue resolution 
  • Improve processes across implementation services, product and support to achieve higher levels of quality and efficiency
  • Drive recommendations in support of salary / promotion process and holds discussions as necessary 
  • Focuses on growing the next level of leadership 
  • Ensures retention plans and employee backfill plans are in place. 

Qualifications and Experiences

  • Degree in supply chain, business administration and / or computer science or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum of 8 years proven leadership experience working as a Project Manager, Consulting Manager, Engagement Manager, or similar management capacity in a professional services organization. 
  • Managing teams of 20+ professionals
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Industry and IT Industry.
  • Domain experience in enterprise software with the latest web-based architectures and SaaS / Cloud models
  • Industry domain experience
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain applications
  • Well versed with project financial management.
  • Experience budgeting and maintaining a complete P&L for a team
  • Strong creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor coach and train company team members. 
  • Comfortable and proficient at communicating from C-level to staff level. 
  • Excellent communication, client relationship and analytical skills.
  • Additional language skills beyond English is a plus
  • Well organized and consistently meets commitments. 
  • Flexible and promotes a teamwork environment. 
  • Ability to adapt to new software / systems. 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, and as part of a large team. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:   

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring: 
  • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday 
  • Placing and receiving phone calls 
  • Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds 

May require up to 25% travel as needed
