Elastic Search (ELK) Engineer

Location: Hyderabad / Mohali (Immediate onsite to Singapore)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with expertise in Elastic tools and certifications in either Elastic Certified Engineer or Elastic Certified Observability Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modelling, querying, and data extraction. They will also have experience with bulk document indexing, search APIs, and creating and consuming REST APIs. Familiarity with Java, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Splunk is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Elastic Search clusters and solutions.
• Perform data modelling and querying using log aggregation tools.
• Develop data extraction and reporting solutions using Elastic tools.
• Implement and manage bulk document indexing and search APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and consume REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of Elastic solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Elastic Search and associated technologies.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Elastic tools and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Elastic Certified Engineer or Elastic Certified Observability Engineer certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in data modelling and querying using Elastic tools.
• Strong experience with bulk document indexing and search APIs.
• Proficient in Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience in creating and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Splunk is a bonus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
