Must have:

  • Fluent in English (Spoken and written)
Good to have:
  • Vendor management experience would be a plus
  • Familiarity with Lean concept and automation technologies

Job Description

Overall purpose of position:

  • To represent the EMEA Regional Distribution center,a focal point as Control Towers and  managing EMEA  fulfillment activities and involved in strategic discussions with Internal Stakeholders and 3rd Party Providers.

  • To ensure  that Supply Chain Goals for the region in regards to Revenue, Cost, Cash and Customer are met.

Scope of Responsibilities:      

  • This role requires the person to manage the DC operations remotely. A 3rd party warehouse located at Alsdorf , Germany.

  • Must be very experienced in the warehouse process and managing the End-to-End fulfillment Activities Alsdorf Distribution Centers. Act as a Control Tower among cross-functional team to optimize warehouse distribution processes: Eg : Delivery management, Order Management,Logistics team, Purchasing team, Quality, Product, Finance , Procurement, New Product Introduction, Regulatory and Compliance, IT etc.

  • Managing the distribution center dept budget: Quarterly budget forecasting warehousing and keeping the monthly operational cost. The cost includes Warehouse Facility cost, Variable fulfillment cost, Scraps, Inventory, Department overhead , Toolings cost.

  • Work with 3rd Party warehouse providers and to provide accurate weekly packing forecasts for capacity planning to meet quarterly revenue targets.

  • Conduct Regular Weekly, Monthly (remote) and QBR Review and Set competitive KPI Metrics to 3PL On Time Delivery, Dock to Stock, Fulfillment Accuracy ( DQ), Inventory Accuracy 

  • Supervising and motivating team members:Leading a small team of Control Towers colleagues in EMEA regions, fostering a culture of accountability among team members.This is a Regional role and must be able to communicate and work with different regions across Internationals regions

  • Far sighted and collaborate with 3PL and drive improvement strategies, cost reductions, Kaizens, AI Automation to ensure continuous success of the operations 

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and facilitate Internal/External audits 

  • Organise and Adhoc Support eg:  Urgent orders, Ad Hoc Quality Rework, Programming Workstation and systems, RMA

  • Business Continuity Plan , 


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years experience as Manager  in complex Warehouse operation /Logistics environment. Vendor management experience would be a plus 

  • Must be able to work in a 3rd Party Warehouse in Alsdorf, German (4 days/week min) 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams  and 3PL.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams across Europe regions.

  • High analytical skills will be required to combine different source of data, conclude and make decisions on spot

  • Flexible and Ability to work in multinational environment (matrix organization, different time zones) 

  • Presenting strong communication skills to develop relationships both internally (Supply Chain) and externally (Sales/Customers) will be essential 

  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices within a warehouse distribution/logistics  environment.

  • Familiarity with Lean concept,  automation technologies and best practices in warehouse operations.

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools/apps to track operational performance

  • Fluent in English (Spoken and written)
