Job Description

The Employee Advisor at Tesla acts as the primary point of contact for employee-related matters, bridging the gap between HR and employees throughout their lifecycle. Responsibilities encompass handling employee grievances, ensuring adherence to policies and best practices, providing support and advice, conducting trainings on employee experience initiatives, and proactively communicating key updates. The role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, proficiency in English and German, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders, visiting Tesla locations for employee engagement programs, performing eligibility checks for internal transfers, and supporting employees on long-term leave. The ideal candidate will demonstrate passion for employee well-being, be a team player and possess resilience in stressful situations.

What to Expect

This role directly impacts the employee’s experience as a key connecter between HR and Employees during the employee life cycle within the company and their day to day working life and adds value by providing exceptional support, advice, problem solving, and escalation where needed. The Partner/Advisor team works extremely close with the business, and a firm understanding of how our business operates is key. This role is expected to spend time out with employees and be visible as well as an advocate for action.

What You’ll Do
  • First point of contact for employee experience related items: employee experience, engagement, health and wellbeing and employee relations
  • Intake for employee grievances, escalation to relevant contact points and follow-up. Support HR Partners and line Managers on legalities and best practices/policies
  • Gatekeepers for internal policies and create awareness for internal people processes and people support systems and tools
  • Ensure proactive communication with employees on key updates and deliver trainings on employee experience related items
  • Review Payroll input monthly
  • Pro-actively educate our employees on support available for their well-being
  • Act as a support for those employees on long-term leave as well as supporting their managers through the process
  • Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders to drive improvements on employee experience initiatives and raising awareness to the business
  • Visit Tesla locations to conduct Roundtable/employee experience programs
  • Perform eligibility checks for internal transfers
