Job Summary
Job Description
Paytm Money seeks an Engineering Manager with 10-12 years of iOS development experience using Swift and Objective-C. Responsibilities include leading a team (5-10 members), driving product innovation, providing technical leadership and mentorship, conducting code reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring application performance and reliability, and implementing new technologies. The role involves designing and coding iOS features, working closely with backend, design, and product teams, and utilizing UI development skills with Interface Builder and code, including Auto Layout. Strong data structures, algorithm, and OOP skills are crucial, as is having published at least one iOS app.
Must have:
- 10-12 years iOS development experience (Swift, Objective-C)

- Published iOS app(s)
- Experience with iOS frameworks (Core Data, Core Animation, etc.)
Good to have:
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

About the role:
Paytm Money is looking to hire EM with sound knowledge in with sound knowledge in iOS application development using swift, objective-c & its frameworks. One should have team leading exposure of 5-10 members as well.
Requirements:
He/She/They should have 10 to 12 years of experience in building apps for the iOS platform.
Driving innovations in the product constantly to remain ahead of the curve. Serve as a thought leader and mentor on technical, architectural, design and related issues.
Provide functional, design, and code reviews in related areas of expertise within team and cross-team. Should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Designs and codes feature for the iOS application as per the specifications provided by Product and Design teams.
Works closely with Backend, Design and Product Management teams to brainstorm and understand the details of features. Should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
UI development with Interface Builder and Code, including Auto Layout.
Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Candidates should have strong experience of Data Structures, algorithm and oops concepts.
Have published one or more iOS apps in the app store.
A deep familiarity with Objective-C, Swift and Cocoa Touch.
Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
