Job Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Sr. Interior Designer to lead and oversee all design activities for corporate interior fitout projects. The Sr. interior Designer will be responsible for managing the entire design process from conceptualization to project completion, ensuring that designs meet client needs, align with project goals, and adhere to industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial spaces, workspace ergonomics, modern design trends, and sustainable design practices. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage design teams and collaborate with other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Leadership
  • Lead the design team in creating innovative, functional, and aesthetic corporate interior designs.
  • Develop design concepts that align with client briefs and project requirements.
  • Ensure designs meet brand guidelines, industry standards, and sustainability practices.
  • Project Oversight
  • Oversee all stages of the design process, from concept development to final delivery.
  • Review and approve detailed drawings, material specifications, and mood boards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and construction teams to ensure design integrity throughout execution.
  • Ensure that design solutions are aligned with project timelines and budgets.
  • Client Engagement
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and expectations.
  • Present design concepts, revisions, and final proposals to clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all design-related inquiries and adjustments.
  • Team Management & Development
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers, architects, and junior designers.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality output from the design team.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative working environment.
  • Innovation & Trend Analysis
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in corporate interiors.
  • Incorporate cutting-edge solutions and best practices in office ergonomics, space planning, and sustainability.
  • Regularly propose new and innovative design ideas to enhance company offerings.
  • Sustainability & Compliance
  • Ensure designs adhere to sustainability principles, including LEED or equivalent green building certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Budget & Resource Management
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to select cost-effective and quality materials.
  • Ensure that design decisions are within budget while maintaining quality and aesthetic standards.
  • Manage resources and delegate tasks to optimize team productivity.
  • Vendor Coordination
  • Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants for material selection, installations, and specialized services.
  • Ensure that all design-related procurements and installations are delivered as per specifications.
  • Quality Control
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure the design and execution meet the highest standards.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure the execution of design elements matches the approved plans.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in corporate interior design, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of space planning, lighting, acoustics, and material selection.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
  • Certifications: LEED Accreditation or similar sustainability certifications are preferred.
