Job Description

As a Field Sales Manager III, you will lead a team of Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) promoting Google Cloud to new and existing accounts in the Financial Services industry. You will develop and maintain relationships with C-level executives, act as a trusted business partner, and drive business growth by understanding customer needs and goals. You will participate in all aspects of building the business, including sales planning, demand generation, account engagement, and acquisition/account-based marketing activities. You will advocate the innovative power of Google Cloud products to enhance organizational productivity, collaboration, and mobility.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales
  • Experience in, or supporting, the Financial Services industry
  • Leadership experience in people management, team lead, mentorship, or coaching
Good to have:
  • Experience delivering growth of cloud technologies in the Financial Services industry
  • Experience working with, and managing, cross-functional internal teams (e.g., Business Development, Customer Engineers, Partner Sales) and external partners in complex implementation projects and negotiations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
  • Experience in, or supporting, the Financial Services industry.
  • Leadership experience, such as people management, team lead, mentorship, or coaching.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience delivering growth of cloud technologies in the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience working with, and managing, cross-functional internal teams (e.g., Business Development, Customer Engineers, Partner Sales) and external partners in complex implementation projects and negotiations.
  • Experience managing and leading a team.

In this role, you will manage a team of Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) who promote to our new and existing accounts. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and build an inclusive and growth culture. Focus on talent strategy and skills development to exceed business goals for your territory and deliver customer satisfaction. 
  • Build executive relationships with customers and influence long-term direction by understanding their technology footprint and strategy, growth plans, generate business, and engaged landscape.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners to create new opportunities and lead customers through the entire business cycle.
  • Represent the territory in business planning, town halls, and team meetings, reporting accurate and timely forecasting and business performance.
  • Travel to, and present at, customer meetings, conferences, and other related events as needed, acting as an advocate for Google Cloud, our products, and our customers.
