Specific responsibilities include:

  • Providing data and insight to help make decisions related to the design and construction of our food spaces
  • Ensuring equipment performance specifications and program intent are met by the kitchen consultant and kitchen equipment provider

  • Developing strategy for equipment maintenance and data management
  • Being the single point of contact for our equipment service providers
  • Managing food equipment maintenance vendor contracts, including preventative maintenance, and inventory of equipment and spare parts
  • Tracking all equipment issues and working with the team to bring them to closure
  • Working cross-functionally to coordinate equipment deliveries, inspection, installations, and commissioning with the appropriate teams
  • Working with the caterer and engineering facilities team to ensure our physical spaces meet safety and sanitation requirements

About You

  • Preferably have 6-9 years of working in the facilities and food services industry and a deep knowledge of commercial kitchen and pantry equipment specification, operation, and maintenance

  • Understand New York food service Department of Health codes and regulations
  • Have expertise managing third-party vendors and service partners
  • Have a strong professional network in the hospitality industry
