Job Description

The Client Account Executive will be responsible for growing and retaining a book of mid-market advertisers within the AppDev segment. They will drive strategic conversations, guide campaign execution, and partner cross-functionally to help app-first advertisers succeed on Reddit. Responsibilities include owning and growing a book of mid-market advertisers, driving advertiser activation and revenue growth, leading strategic sales conversations, working with Account Strategists to implement and optimize campaigns, monitoring and reporting on campaign metrics, identifying product feedback, developing and executing sales strategies, and cultivating strong client relationships. The role requires working in person 1-2 days per week from the New York office.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience in digital media sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of the mobile app advertising ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with mobile measurement providers (MMPs).
  • Strong understanding of the customer marketing funnel and advertising landscape.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly analytical; comfortable translating data into client-facing insights.
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and understanding of performance measurement.

We’re building Reddit’s Mid-Market team in North America to support a rapidly expanding book of advertisers who are looking to grow their businesses through Reddit’s unique, intent-rich communities. This is an opportunity to join a high-impact team that is reshaping how advertisers think about discovery, performance, and brand-building at scale.

As a Client Account Executive, you will have end-to-end ownership to grow and retain your book of business across the AppDev segment. You will drive strategic conversations, guide campaign execution, and partner cross-functionally to help app-first advertisers succeed on Reddit. You'll work closely with a team of Account Strategists to scale your impact across a dedicated book of business. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, consultative environment and enjoys taking ownership, building deep client relationships, and turning insights into action.

Please note that this role is required to work in person from our New York office 1–2 days per week.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a book of mid-market advertisers, acting as the main point of contact for both clients and agencies.
  • Drive advertiser activation, retention, and revenue growth through thoughtful client consultation, performance analysis, and solution-oriented storytelling.
  • Initiate and lead strategic sales conversations using market trends, performance data, and industry context to advise clients on how to scale on Reddit.
  • Work with Account Strategists to implement and optimize campaigns to achieve your clients’ advertising objectives across performance and brand campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on key campaign metrics, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and communicate product feedback and market insights to cross-functional teams to influence Reddit’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to hit and exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships with a customer-first mindset, balancing client priorities with Reddit best practices and long-term success planning.
  • Serve as a foundational hire shaping scaled sales methodologies and best practices for the Client Account Executive role.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media sales, account management, or paid social strategy.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of the mobile app advertising ecosystem, customer marketing funnel, and auction-based environments.
  • Familiarity with mobile measurement providers (MMPs) such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch.
  • Strong understanding of the customer marketing funnel, auction dynamics, and digital advertising landscape.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and visual - with a strong ability to craft and present narratives that drive action.
  • Highly analytical; comfortable translating data into client-facing insights.
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and strong understanding of performance measurement and attribution.

Eligibility

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year in current role (less than one year can be considered if the applicant currently sits within the same team)
  • Must be at the IC3 level or higher in your current role
  • Must be able to commute to the office where the role is listed 1-2 days per week
