As a Fraud Analyst Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in fraud operations and have a direct impact on the customer experience. You will review customer accounts, assess data to gather insights on customer behavior, and monitor fraud dashboards. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in special projects related to fraud and chargebacks. This internship provides a chance to learn about the business and contribute to a fast-growing startup. You'll be working with a team dedicated to maximizing both customer and employee experiences.

Must have:

Post-secondary student studying business or finance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Critical thinker and problem-solver.

Good to have:

1-2 years of work experience preferred.
Experience with data analysis preferred.
Passion for people, processes, and systems.

About this Role

As a part of the broader Strategic Operations team, you will learn how the business works and have a direct impact on the customer experience. There will be opportunities to assist special projects. Challenges You'll Solve

Review customer accounts in order to compile compelling evidence for customer disputes
Assess data to gather insights on customer behavior and identify opportunities
Monitor Fraud Dashboards to ensure we’re being proactive in our fraud mitigation efforts
Opportunity to participate in special projects related to fraud and chargebacks

About You

You are a post-secondary student, studying business or finance
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
1-2 years of work experience preferred
Experience with data analysis preferred
You have a passion for people, processes, and systems
You have a strong work ethic with a desire to contribute to a fast-growing startup
You are a critical thinker and problem-solver
You have the ability to learn quickly, paired with the desire to work hard

$24.50 - $30 an hour

Compensation for this internship will be determined based on the number of prior work terms or internships you have successfully completed, in alignment with our intern pay structure.
