The Customer Service Platform (CSP) is a team that integrates the product technology resources of the company’s internal customer service system. Our mission is to provide users with efficient self-service solutions and provide agents with convenient tools to improve customer service experience. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025. Internships at Bytedance aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below: Monday, May 12 Monday, May 19 Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26) Monday, June 9 Monday, June 23 We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Online Assessment (Only for RD) Candidates who pass resume evaluation will be invited to participate in Bytedance's technical online assessment in HackerRank. Responsibilities: - Build new features that touch hundreds of millions of people around the world. - Solve unique, highly complex technical problems. - Participate in technical discussions related to team's product and engineering work.

Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate degree - Able to commit to working more than 3 months - Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment - Ability to thrive in a rapid, agile, and often ambiguous environment with a growth mindset - Attention to detail, affinity for analytics, logical and strong problem solving skills - Proficient in using HTML (5)/CSS (3)/JS and other front-end technologies to complete page layout and interactive development, and familiar with using front-end frameworks such as Vue/React or with web project development experience. Preferred Qualifications: - Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications. - High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities. - Passion for TikTok and eCommerce, eager to exceed challenging goals while building something truly unique to the market. - Experience in packaging frameworks like Webpack/Rollup/Babel/AST Bytedance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
