Here’s a summary of the role:
The YouGov Operations Teams provide support to research teams in Europe, the USA, the Middle East and APAC, enabling them to offer quality consultancy on a wide variety of topics. You will be part of the YouGov Panel Operations Team that strives to provide excellent service around YouGov's Online Panels by supporting the rest of the organization with the delivery of feasibility, sample and fieldwork services.
Our 12-month graduate programme gives you the opportunity to gain training in the world of YouGov’s Online Panels. Alongside on the job coaching from a range of mentors, you will receive further support from our Talent Development team. There will be an opportunity to join us permanently at the end of the program.
During your programme, you will receive the following from us:
Learnings about the flow of a market research project: needs, setup, data collection, deliveries
Understanding the different methodologies used in online sampling
Learnings about types of varieties of target groups and sample requirements
Training in our proprietary tools to run feasibilities and sample projects across our YouGov Panels
Developing your project managing skills
Training how to keep the YouGov Panels safe and healthy
Learnings about Online Panel best-practices
First steps and experiences in a truly global and international operations team
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
Running feasibility checks in our YouGov Panels and providing internal clients with sampling plans & best practices
Technical set-up and launch of fieldwork projects using our Panels and liaising with internal clients on fieldwork progress
Aligning and technical set-up with our Partner Panels
Running daily Quality Control across our Panels to keep these safe & healthy
Maintaining excellent record administration so as to have an accurate log of work carried out as part of the service
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
Creative & flexible thinking & working – Working in the heart of our YouGov Panels will create challenges and opportunities every day! You will be required to respond to these and deliver the solutions to help and support our internal clients
Teamwork – YouGov Panel Operations is a global team – the ability to work from a global perspective and think as part of a team is essential
We love numbers and technology - your analytical and numerical skills will be challenged in providing excellent service to our internal clients, but don't worry, with your open mind to new technologies we have the best solutions quick at hand
Ideally you have a degree in a data-based or socio-economic or psychological subject
We like to be fast - you can deliver results, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively
You are comfortable using standard Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
And of course, you’ll have excellent English speaking, reading, and writing skills
