As a sales specialist on the Americas OEMS team, you will manage the full opportunity life cycle with new prospects and existing buy and sell side customers to achieve sales targets. You will provide in-depth customer and market insights to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales process, collaborating with various departments like Account Management, Product, Marketing, and Sales Strategy. The role requires strong business acumen, and you will be delivering a customer experience through product demonstrations. Experience in financial markets is crucial, and understanding financial tools is a must.

  • 5+ years of financial markets/sales experience.
  • Expertise in financial tools used by market professionals.
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with direct experience in quota-bearing sales.
  • Understanding of the financial services and competitor landscape.

Trading Sales Specialist - Role Overview

As a sales specialist on the Americas OEMS team, you will manage the full opportunity life cycle with new prospects and existing buy and sell side customers in order to achieve sales targets.

The OEMS Team sells a suite of products including AlphaDesk, REDI, TORA, Eikon, and Autex.

You know how to structure deals and how to leverage market and business sense to outsell the competition. 

  

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing in-depth customer and market insights, to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales process
  • Partnering across matrixed functions, including Account Management, Product, Marketing, Sales Strategy, and external partners
  • Having a strong eye for business and commercial strategy
  • Delivering a customer experience through demonstrations in your proposition

What are we looking for:

  • 5 years+ financial markets / sales experience
  • Domain expertise of financial tools used by market professionals across Execution, Order and Portfolio Management.
  • Understands the trends and themes impacting the financial industry, familiarity with macroeconomic trends
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-Motivated and direct experience selling solutions to the financial community in a quota bearing environment
  • Creative problem solver
  • Understanding of Financial Services and Competitor Landscape
  • Strong technical and workflow knowledge specifically within the financial markets trade and execution domain

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $0 - $0.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
